Focus on psychological vulnerability

40% of the Brussels residents have mental health issues and 25% have a serious risk of a psychological disorder. All the more reason to recognise their expertise and that of their families in mental health care.

UilenSpiegel is an association for and by people who are psychologically vulnerable or have difficulties in life, with specific psychological experience and anyone else who feels he or she falls into this category.

Similes supports family or relatives of people who are psychologically vulnerable. The two organisations bring together people in a similar situation and in this way strive to offer high-quality mental health care without stigma.

The VGC set aside EUR 47,000 for these organisations to help them expand their services in Brussels.
